Terms of Use
Expose is a party game for adults. Players write their own answers, so these rules apply to everyone. You must accept them inside the app before you can play.
You must be 18 or over
Expose is rated 18+. Do not use the app if you are under 18.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
There is no tolerance for objectionable content. You must not write, send or share:
- Slurs, hate speech, or content attacking people for who they are
- Sexual content involving children, in any form
- Threats of violence, or encouragement of self-harm
- Harassment, bullying or abuse of another player
- Content that is illegal where you or the other players are
The app refuses answers and messages containing this material before any other player can see them.
Zero tolerance for abusive users
There is no tolerance for abusive players. Anyone who abuses other players will have their content removed and will be ejected from the game and blocked.
What you can do in the app
- Report any answer or message. It is hidden on your device immediately.
- Block any player. You will not see anything they write, and they cannot join a game you host.
- Remove your own answer at any time before the reveal.
- If you are the host, remove any answer from every player’s screen, and eject any player.
How we handle reports
We review every report and act within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld we remove the offending content and eject the player responsible.
Expose plays over your local Wi-Fi or hotspot and does not use a server, so content only exists on the phones in the room and disappears when the game ends. Reports reach us by email and should say what was written and who wrote it.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you write. Everything you type is shown to the other players in your game. Do not type anything you are not willing for those people to read.
Ending your use of the app
If you break these rules, hosts may eject and block you, and we may refuse you access to the app.
No warranty
Expose is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for what other players write.
Changes
If these terms change we will update this page and the effective date above.
